# Privacy policy

What we collect when you use this site, request a report or book a call, and what we do with it.

## Who we are

This site is run by SevenLabs Consulting LLC (“SevenLabs”, “we”), a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. We decide how the personal data described here is used, which makes us its controller. For anything about your data, email [legal@sevenlabs.org](mailto:legal@sevenlabs.org).

## What we collect

### When you request a report

- Your work email address, and the company we infer from its domain.
- Your answers to the form’s questions: what you work on and where your system is.
- Which report you asked for, and when.
- How you reached us: the tag on the link you followed (for example from X, LinkedIn or a talk), the campaign, the site that referred you and the page you landed on.

Our CRM may add public information about your company, such as its name, size and industry, from its domain.

### When you book a call

Bookings go through Calendly, which collects your name, email address and anything you write in the booking form, and shares them with us. Calendly’s own privacy policy also applies.

### When you browse

We don’t use analytics, advertising cookies or tracking pixels. If you arrive through a tagged link, your browser keeps that tag in session storage until you close the tab, so it can go with a report request if you make one. It isn’t sent anywhere otherwise. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running.

## Why we use it

- **To send you the report you asked for.** This is the service you requested.
- **To follow up about related work.** We may write to you about work related to the report’s subject. This is our legitimate interest, and you can opt out at any time by replying or emailing us.
- **To learn which channels bring interested readers.** We look at where requests come from to decide where to publish. This is also our legitimate interest.

We don’t sell your data, and we don’t add you to a newsletter without asking.

## Who we share it with

Only the providers that run these services for us, under contracts that limit what they can do with it:

- **Attio**, our CRM, which stores report requests.
- **Resend**, which delivers the report by email.
- **Railway**, which hosts this site and its form.
- **Calendly**, which handles call bookings.

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Where your data leaves the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the transfer is covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

## How long we keep it

We keep report requests and related contact details for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then delete them. Server logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider.

## Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive it in a portable format. Email [legal@sevenlabs.org](mailto:legal@sevenlabs.org) and we’ll answer within a month. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

## Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update it here and change the date at the top.
